乔布斯预测计算机将会成为Agent

乔布斯在1984年ACCESS杂志采访时曾说：

当下我们所使用的计算机仍然是工具。它们扮演着“响应者”(Responser)的角色：人们向计算机发出指令，它便依照执行。而下一阶段，计算机将发展为“代理人”(Agent)。换言之，就仿佛在那台机器内部潜藏着一个小人，能够预测你的需求。届时，它不仅仅是协助者，而会成为引导者，带领你穿梭于浩瀚的信息之中。几乎可以说，那就像在盒子里安置了一位小伙伴。我认为，计算机作为代理的形态，将会在二十世纪八十年代末至九十年代初逐渐成熟。

They’re responders: you ask a computer to do something and it will do it. The next stage is going to be computers as “agents.” In other words, it will be as if there’s a little person inside that box who starts to anticipate what you want. Rather than help you, it will start to guide you through large amounts of information. It will almost be like you have a little friend inside that box. I think the computer as an agent will start to mature in the late '80s, early '90s.
